Stirling PDF Download Windows

This page covers Stirling PDF download Windows options for the native desktop app: the official MSI, winget, and Scoop. We do not host exe, msi, or jar files. Get them from GitHub releases.

winget

If you already use winget:

If you do not have it yet, see how to install winget.

winget install StirlingTools.StirlingPDF

Scoop

Official docs also list Scoop. Commands below match that page. If Scoop packaging changes, trust the official Windows installation docs.

scoop bucket add stirling-pdf https://github.com/Stirling-Tools/homebrew-stirling-pdf
scoop install stirling-pdf/stirling-pdf

MSI from official releases

The Windows MSI lives on the official GitHub releases page. Download it there, then run it on your PC.

The desktop app processes files locally. Official Windows docs also mention an optional server connection if you want OCR or conversions on a Stirling server you run.

If the window does not appear

Desktop install docs mention WebView2. If the app starts but you see no window, install or repair WebView2, then try again. Full troubleshooting is on the official Windows installation page.

Server JARs on Windows

If you want the server instead of the desktop app, GitHub releases also ship JARs. Official docs say Java JDK 25 is required for server JARs. Point your download at releases, not this site.
